1. FlightGear Flight Simulator
The FlightGear flight simulator project is an open-source, multi-platform, cooperative flight simulator development project.
The goal of the FlightGear project is to create a sophisticated flight simulator framework for use in research or academic environments, for the development and pursuit of other interesting flight simulation ideas, and as an end-user application.
FlightGear are developing a sophisticated, open simulation framework that can be expanded and improved upon by anyone interested in contributing.
There are many exciting possibilities for an open, free flight sim. FlightGear hope that this project will be interesting and useful to many people in many areas.

2. Qimo 4 Kids - Software For Kids
Qimo 4 Kids is a desktop operating system designed for kids.
Based on the open source Ubuntu Linux desktop, Qimo 4 Kids comes pre-installed with educational games for children aged 3 and up.
Qimo 4 Kid's interface has been designed to be intuitive and easy to use, providing large icons for all installed games, so that even the youngest users have no trouble selecting the activity they want.
