Type in a favourite artist and Last.fm will stream
you free music by that act and others like it. Works on mobile phones too.
Spotify
Spotify offers you streaming access to a gargantuan
amount of music, legally and without charge, in return for one short audio ad
every 23 minutes. Mind-blowing.
iTunes
The daddy of the download stores, where the overwhelming
majority of paid-for MP3s are bought. They also offer lots of excellent free
podcasts.
7digital
MP3 Music Downloads
7digital has excellent deals, with many albums
costing just £5. Check this site before you pay more elsewhere.

We7 lets you stream more than 3 million tracks
and download free MP3s by the likes of Motorhead, Moby and the Kinks. But there
is an ad before each song.
