U-Now is the University of Nottingham’s formal open courseware initiative, and a member of OCW OpenCourseWare Consortium.

8. E-Evolve Materials Repository
This repository is a free online service for UK Further and Higher Education Institutions. The aim of the repository is to facilitate the storage and re-use of rich learning objects that can be used within a module or programme of study.
The repository provides access to a range of materials that have been developed for use by students and academic tutors to enhance graduate-level employability.
Based on research undertaken the materials have been developed under key themes identified by employers as necessary for graduate employment.
From the repository you can download materials in two forms:
1. Packaged as a series of tasks using resources and materials.
2. Unpackaged raw materials to be used in different combinations. These are in a variety of formats including text, audio and graphical.
EVOLUTION stands for Educational and Vocational Objects for Learning Understanding and Instruction Online.
EVOLUTION is a JISC funded Open Educational Resource working on Disaggregating learning packages created by E-EVOLVE and REVOLVE and repackaging content
9. Open Spires - Open Content at Oxford University
The Open Spires project intends to release hundreds of hours of Oxford digital learning content as Open Content Resources (OER) in appropriate ways via appropriate online platforms.
The Open Spires project has two purposes:
Firstly, to increase the amount of educational audio and video content released from Oxford University as Open Content Resources (OER).
Secondly, to enable the University to investigate and disseminate the institutional implications of making some of this material available as "Open Content".
The Open Spires project is making a range of audio and video podcasting material available (talks, research seminars etc) through the web and other channels. The material will be open for reuse and redistribution by third parties globally, provided that it is used in a non-commercial way and is attributed to its creator.

MERLOT is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students of higher education.
MERLOT is a leading edge, user-centered, searchable collection of peer reviewed and selected higher education, online learning materials, catalogued by registered members and a set of faculty development support services.
MERLOT's vision is to be a premiere online community where faculty, staff and students from around the world share their learning materials and pedagogy.

Established in 1993, the UK Copper Board is part of a European campaign which aims to promote the benefits of copper plumbing and heating systems to the construction industry. The Board works in close association with tube and fittings manufacturers throughout the UK and Europe and is supported by the International Copper Association and European Copper Institute.
